SI Club of Nakuru was chartered on 9th March 1989 as the second club in Kenya then by Dr.Gisela Freudenberg with the charter President being the late Joan Catherine Asiko. The current (2020 - 2022) President is Jane Were.
As a club, we carry out projects in all areas within the Soroptimist International (SI) program areas majoring in Environmental Sustainability where two hectares of Mau Forest is under the club's care in terms of periodic reafforestation.
